Interior Painting Process
Our first priority is to make sure the painting job is as convenient as possible. When we are on site we will keep all of our gear and supplies in a small designated area so that we are not in your way.
Step 1: Preparation
The key to a good paint job is the preparation, so before we start painting we do the following:
Preparation is the most important part of any paint job, and also the most time consuming.
Step 2: Application
Two-coats of topcoat application are always applied. A primer coat is used if color change deems it recommended. Rolled on walls using 10-15mm knap rollers ensuring a smooth coherent and durable finish.
When we paint we will use drop sheets to protect your home and always work to provide a 5-star service.
A paint’s finish, or sheen, can make all the difference to a finished look and how long it lasts. If your wondering how to choose a paint finish, read on.
“Sheen” is simply how shiny or reflective the paint surface will be after drying. The sheen you choose can help you hide minor flaws on your walls, call out architectural details, or make it easier to clean up after the little ones.
Paint comes in a wide variety of finishes, from dead flat to high gloss. What you choose depends on the not just the desired finished look, but the amount of traffic in the room, and how 'scrubbable' you need the walls to be. Today, many super-premium products offer the same durability and washability in all sheens, so the selection of the finish is more of a personal preference in those cases.
Here is a common use reference for selecting your desired sheen:
